Kailash Vijayvargiya slams Mamata after she recites Chandipath at Nandigram rally

BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Tuesday (March 9) slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after she recited mantras (hymns) from a religious text, Chandipath while addressing a meeting of the Trinamool Congress party workers at Nandigram.

Mamata Banerjee said, “I do Chandipath before stepping out every day. The BJP must not play its Hindu card with me.”

She further chanted shlokas of 'Chandipath' on the stage. " Om Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini, Durga Kshama Shiva Dhatri Swaha Swadha Namoastutte.”
