BJP will make Sunderban a separate district if it comes to power in Bengal: Amit Shah

Union home minister Amit Shah attended a public meeting at Gosaba in Sunderban. At the meeting, Shah said, “If the BJP comes to power in Bengal, we will make Sundarbans a separate district.”
 

Attacking the TMC government, Amit Shah said, “Mamata Banerjee and her government did not allow the aid sent by Prime Minister Modi to reach the people of Bengal during their crisis.”

The Union home minister asked, “Where did Amphan's 10 thousand crore rupees go? The Bhaipo (nephew)ate all the money. When the BJP will come to power, it will first form a committee and put the criminals in jail.”

Amit Shah has announced to make Sundarbans a separate district. He said, “If BJP comes to power, Sundarbans will be made a separate district. The Sundarbans will be developed to attract tourists from all over the world. Fishermen will be given insurance of Rs 3 lakh. A tiger conservation center will be set up. Arrangements have been made to provide electricity, bathroom and cooking gas to the houses.”

Amit Shah also said, “The Sundarbans Development Board will be set up for the development of fishermen and the Sundarbans. Separate initiatives will also be taken to conserve tigers. Note that after Gosaba, Amit Shah will go to West Midnapore. He will do a road show from Keranitla junction in Medinipur town to Golkunya Chowk at Bottala junction.
