This is only an extra form; no new applications will be accepted. During this time, interested applicants can also change the first phase fields such as gender, nationality, e-mail address, category, Sub-category, and educational details for classes 11 and 12. There is no additional charge for filling out the second piece of information for medical students. The form must be completed by all candidates.

“In the absence of filling out the information for the second phase, his/her candidature would be withdrawn, according to an official notification issued by the NTA. In order to guarantee that candidate data is supplied as soon as possible, the NEET (UG) – 2021 application form has been separated into two sets or phases," NTA said.

The first piece of information must be completed prior to the deadline for submitting the online Application Form. Before declaring the result of obtaining the scorecard, candidates must fill out the second piece of information.

If a candidate has trouble filling out the Second set of information on the NEET (UG) – 201 online application form, he or she can call 011-40759000 or send an e-mail to neet@nta.ac.in.

Meanwhile, a petition to the Supreme Court has been filed seeking the annulment of NEET 2021. A group of students is concerned that the medical admission test on September 12 would be tarnished by cheating scandals, detrimental to the "interest of real, worthy, and meritorious" applicants. Students are now demanding that a re-exam be held.
