Royal Enfield teases Meteor 350, launch on November 6

The Thunderbird 350X's successor is likely to get a retro classic styling coupled with modern features.

Enfield lovers, mark November 6 on your calendar. That's the day Royal Enfield is set to launch the new Meteor 350.

The Meteor will come with a new 350 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke engine that will pump out 20.2 PS of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque.

Taking to Twitter, Royal Enfield CEO Sid Lal said: "Delighted to introduce the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. It has been an exciting journey & a culmination of our experiences & belief in the spirit of pure motorcycling. Can’t wait for the world to experience a new way to cruise easy."

According to media reports, Thunderbird 350X's successor will come with a new transmission with smoother clutch action. Besides an all-new instrument panel, the bike will have LED DRL and tail light, a USB charger, alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers at the back.

Royal Enfield is expected to place a price tag of around Rs 1.6 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Meteor 350.
