Who doesn't like having hot soupy Maggi noodles? But do you know how it came into being and what's its story? Read on.
 

Julius Maggi from Switzerland named the company after his surname in 1872. It was during the Industrial revolution in Switzerland; women had to go home after working in factories and cook for hours. Swiss Public Welfare Society and Julius Maggi built the company and was first introduced in Germany.

In 1947, the company merged with Nestle, a Swiss company that gave more exposure to the company, making it one of the world's most valued brands.

Even though Julius gave birth to Maggi, Nestle took the company under their wing, with their brand strategy and advertising strength, they gave another life to Maggi.

In 1984, Nestle India brought Maggi to India but never thought it would succeed the goal to where it is now. Maggi became millions of people's choice, and every kitchen in India always has one or two packets of Maggi.
