Woman Dies By Suicide In Karnataka Village After Ex-Lover Shares Private Photos With Groom's Family

A young woman from Vijayapura district was all set to get married. But her ex-lover sent her private photos to the groom's family, and the wedding was cancelled. The girl couldn't handle the public shame and ended her life by jumping into a well.

A lover's blunder

A young woman from Bandal village in Vijayapura's Sindagi taluk jumped into a well and ended her life. Her wedding was called off because of something her ex-lover did.

Jayashree Biradar, the deceased woman

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Jayashree Biradar from Bandal village. Her wedding was scheduled for April 27. The family's celebrations were cut short by a man named Sreeshail Badanoor.

Lover leaked private photos

Sreeshail Badanoor allegedly sent private photos of him and Jayashree to her fiancé's family. As soon as they saw the pictures, the groom's family called off the wedding.

Deeply hurt, the woman ended her life

Jayashree was devastated that her past relationship was exposed and felt she had lost her honour. She jumped into a well near the Madina Masjid in her village and ended her life.

Mother demands arrest of the accused

Jayashree's mother, Savitri, is heartbroken. 'Arrest Sreeshail immediately. His actions caused my daughter's death,' she said. Police have recovered the body from the well and are investigating based on the family's complaint.
