ISL 2020-21: Roy Krishna's brace allows ATK Mohun Bagan to edge past Kerala Blasters FC in a thriller

This was ATK Mohun Bagan's eighth win of the Indian Super League 2020-21, as with three draws and losses each, it stays on the second spot. Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters FC succumbed to its sixth loss of the season, while with three wins and six draws, it remains at ninth.

In what turned out to be the perfect thriller, ATK Mohun Bagan made a magnificent comeback to edge past Kerala Blasters FC, 3-2, in the 2020-21 Indian Super League, at the Fatorda Stadium in Bengaluru, on Sunday. With this win, ATKMB maintains its second spot, while Blasters lurks at ninth.

The opening half began with three attacks until the 10th minute, including a save from Blasters goalkeeper, Albino Gomes. Nonetheless, three minutes later, Gary Hooper put Blasters ahead with his superb right-footed strike to the top-right, 35 yards outside the box, thanks to Sandeep Singh's assistance.

It was followed by nine more attempts, including four saves, while three of them came from ATKMB's keeper, Arindam Bhattacharya, as the Blasters looked determined to double the lead. Nonetheless, it managed to hold on to the lead at the half-time break.

Nonetheless, Jessel Carneiro's handball allowed ATKMB to earn a penalty in the 62nd minute, which was swiftly converted by Roy Krishna to the top-left, with his right foot, as the deadlock was back in place.
