Coronavirus: Telangana to promote 5.34 lakh Class 10 students without SSC exams

Amid growing concerns over the rise in the number of the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the state, the Telangana government on Monday (June 8) decided to promote all the 5,34,903 SSC students to the next class without conducting any examinations.

 Promotion of students will be done based on the marks scored in the internals

The Telangana Secondary Board of Examination (TSBIE) has already conducted three exams in two subjects out of the 11 exams in six subjects

Earlier, the Telangana high court directed the government to postpone the SSC exams this academic year because of the extended coronavirus lockdown
