While addressing the rally in Purulia, Mamata Banerjee attacked the BJP in several ways. She asked, “In a country where people go door to door to earn Rs 1,400, what is the need to build a new parliament building at a cost of Rs 14,000 crore?”

“I can do as much as possible with the money I have. I can't do more than that. Do you know how many crores of rupees it costs to give free ration? Today I am giving free ration, free healthcare, free education, food and water,” she added.

The CM alleged that the BJP sends people to create trouble in all her meetings. She threatened the BJP of doing the same in all of their meetings.
