Mamata Banerjee compares herself to Royal Bengal Tiger; says she cannot be intimated by BJP

While attending a meeting in Murshidabad’s Baharampur, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee compared herself to a Royal Bengal Tiger and said that she is not a weak person who can be intimidated by the BJP.
 

Mamata Banerjee also compared those who left the TMC to join the BJP to Mir Jafar, a commander of his army who betrayed him in the Battle of Plassey against the British in 1757.

At the meeting, the TMC supremo said, “I don’t consider myself weak. I am not a person to be afraid of anything. I keep my head high as long as I live and till then I will live like a Royal Bengal Tiger.”

Mamata Banerjee blamed the Centre for not providing any assistance to West Bengal during natural disasters like Amphan. She further alleged that the Centre did not do anything to support the state to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

After some heavyweight TMC leaders left the party and joined the BJP, Mamata Banerjee said, “The BJP seems to be a washing machine, those having dirty hands emerge clean after joining it.”
