Mamata Banerjee to address rally in Murshidabad district today

Before the upcoming assembly polls, the Trinamool faction quarrel escalated in Murshidabad district. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was present at the meeting to maintain coordination among the party leaders.
 

The district leadership of the Trinamool had to come to the Trinamool Bhawan in Kolkata to find solution to the factional quarrel. In this situation, the TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is holding a meeting in Berhampur today (February 9).

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will hold a meeting at Berhampur Stadium. Organizers claim over 200,000 people will join the event. Security personnel will monitor the gathering and are likely to restrict traffic on access roads such as sections of National Highways (NH) 12 and 114A.

However, the district police administration took several measures keeping in mind the current situation so that the meeting is not disrupted in any way. In addition, the party also imposed various restrictions around the meeting stage. Special attention has been paid due to the COVID-19 situation.

Two stages have been created for the meeting. There will be 15 people on the main stage. There will be about 35 people on the other stage. Barricades were set up below to accommodate party workers and supporters.

Security forces may forcibly disperse disruptive crowds, prompting retaliatory demonstrations; popular protest venues include party offices, government buildings, traffic intersections, and public squares.
