JP Nadda eats lunch at jute mill worker’s house

BJP All India President JP Nadda had lunch at the house of Hukumchand Jute Mill worker Debnath Yadav. After lunch, he will go to Anandapuri Kalibari temple in Barrackpore. He will even see the Mangal Pandey Memorial.
 

At the jute mill worker's house in Naihati, he ate lunch in lotus leaves. Rice and Roti were on the lunch menu. Besides, there were moong dal, fried bittergourd, fried brinjal, fried potato, fried red spinach, poppy seed fry, mixed vegetable curry, cauliflower potato curry, mango chutney, and sweets.

Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh, Arjun Singh and many others accompanied Nadda during lunch. Before polls, the BJP is trying to win the hearts of people in Bengal by interacting with them.

Nadda will also visit the homes of Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay and Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay to capture the Bengali sentiment. He will also discuss the poll preparation with political experts.

Earlier in the day, JP Nadda launched BJP’s new outreach programme ‘Lokkho Sonar Bangla’ (Target Golden Bangla).

Under this scheme, the BJP will invite suggestions from March 3 to 20, through boxes that will be made available in all the 294 Assembly segments.
