West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday (January 13) said that cows graze in the land allotted for the Silicon Valley project. He claimed that the state government did not do anything for the development of the project.

At a press conference in North 24 Parganas, Dilip Ghosh said, “Look at the Silicon Valley site. Even today, cows are grazing there. If this is the state of the Silicon Valley, then we don't require it.”

An official of the state government said, “Out of a total of 200 acres in the Silicon Valley, 169 acres of land is allotable.”

Dilip Ghosh said that the BJP will bring development in Bengal if it comes to power in the upcoming polls. He also said that the BJP is gaining popularity in the state which has annoyed the ruling party.
