Bharat Forge Limited on Tuesday dispatched 16 Made-In-India Kalyani M4 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) to the Indian Army for United Nations Peacekeeping deployment. The state-of-the-art Kalyani M4 APCs provide unprecedented levels of protection to occupants against threats like landmine blasts and grenades.

The Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle (Heavy), indigenously manufactured by Bharat Forge Ltd, has been put through extreme vehicle trials in some of the toughest environments in the country. The trial locations included the deserts of Rann of Kutch and the freezing terrains of Leh and Ladakh.
The Kalyani M4 can carrying an infantry platoon in full combat gear.
