In 2013, the entire reality star family attended the event for the first time. While Kim Kardashian attended her first Met Gala in 2013, her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian debuted at the event last year. The 2022 event also marked the first time the whole Jenner family, including their mother Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, appeared on the red carpet together.

Khloe previously addressed accusations that she had been snubbed in the past. The creator of Good American was revealed on an episode of "The Kardashians" that she'd really rejected down prior Met Gala invites, adding, "I'm not huge on red carpets. That, I believe, has been made quite obvious."

Kim, on the other hand, made news with her Met Gala wardrobe choice in 2022. The SKIMS founder astonished everyone when she came in Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday" gown, which she had borrowed particularly for the occasion.

The reality personality only wore the original outfit for a few minutes before changing for a copy later in the evening. "I'm really sensitive of the dress and what it represents to American history. "I would never want to sit in it, eat in it, or risk any harm to it, and I won't be applying the sort of body makeup I typically use," Kim, who claimed she shed 21 pounds to fit into the historic gown, said. "Everything had to be specifically timed and I had to practice walking up the stairs."
