Samantha Akkineni is currently busy shooting for S Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam. Recently she shared a new picture on Instagram. In the photo, the actress can be seen in a gown designed with sheer lace, beads and fur.
The film is about King Dushyanta and Shakuntala, daughter of sage Vishwamitra and apsara Menaka. Samantha and Malayalam actor Dev Mohan and Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha will play the major role.
Samantha Akkineni is one of the most loved and hot female actresses and a powerhouse performer, and an idol for many of her fans.

When probed further, she said, “Yes the date has been fixed. But we have definitely fixed the timeline as to when we want to have a baby.” She further goes on to say, ”When I have a baby, that child will be my universe.”
On the work front, apart from Shaakuntalam, Samantha also has Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the rom-com will release later this year.
