After Chakravarthy and Warrier tested positive, the duo was immediately isolated for ten days away from the team bubble in a separate facility. The pair had supposedly contracted the coronavirus after visiting a medical facility to undergo scans.

While Chakravarthy's contraction led to fellow KKR pacer Prasidh Krishna getting infected, Warrier had closely interacted with Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra, as the latter too tested positive later. Meanwhile, according to a new report by PTI, both Chakravarthy and Warrier have completed their mandatory ten-day isolation and have gone back home.

"Yes, Chakravarthy and Sandeep have gone home. They have completed ten days of mandatory isolation. However, KKR, as a franchise, will keep monitoring their health. They will undergo RT-PCR tests in Chennai and Kerala, respectively," an official from the Board of Control for Cricket in India was quoted as saying.

Reports also suggested that both Chakravarthy and Warrier were primarily asymptomatic.
