India has displayed strong resilience against England for the Anthony de Mello Trophy in the ongoing four-Test series. Having lost the opening Test in Chennai, the host has bounced back in style to win the second at the same venue. As a result, records too took a tumble.

Host India came up with an extraordinary performance to tame visitor England on Day 4 of the second Test, for the Anthony de Mello Trophy, at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium in Chennai, on Tuesday. With this win, India has drawn level in the four-Test series, as the race for the final spot in the ICC World Test Championship is well on.
