Shastri has decided against continuing with the role, having had a decent four-year tenure, during which India defeated Australia twice in the Test series Down Under. Meanwhile, Shastri's departure also means that Vikram Rathour (batting coach), Bharat Arun (bowling coach) and R Sridhar (fielding coach) also part ways.
