Senior citizens who own a home can get a reverse mortgage loan. Unlike a regular home loan, in a reverse mortgage loan, the bank continues to pay a fixed amount to the homeowner. This option is beneficial for those looking for a steady income during retirement. However, the loan amount depends on the market value of the property.
