Tanmay Bhat mocks Priyanka's accent. Here's what happened next

Tanmay has taken a dig at Priyanka's American accent saying, "When I say @priyankachopra's name in my head, I now automatically pronounce it like "Priyaaaanka Chopruh"
AIB's Tanmay humour doesn't go down too well with a lot of people. The uproar over his Snapchat video of a mock dialogue between Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar was proof that we take some things way too seriously.
Within minutes, Priyanka's fans were spitting venom against Tanmay. Unable to stand the ordeal, the comedian asked them to stop, "PC fans, kyu mujhpe chadh rahe ho, it was meant to be a compliment what is wrong with some of you smh (shaking my head)."
Before the things turned ugly, Priyanka relaxed her fans by saying it was all in jest, and they were just joking around!
Pee Cee tweeted "Guys it was a joke!! From me and him!! Comedy is the smartest form of entertainment!and @thetanmay has it down!xoxo."
It's good that Priyanka Chopra doused the fire in the nick of time, or else Tanmay Bhat would have had another round of trolls targeting him.
Other celebrities would have probably got annoyed, but the Barfi actress clearly has a sense of humour.
She replied to Tanmay saying, "I'm supposed to have the accent @thetanmay what happened to u? Lol"
