Startups book entire cinemas for staff to watch Kabali

Synopsis

Thalaiva fans in Chennai have taken their fan-giri to a whole new level. A number of start ups in Chennai have booked out entire first day, first shows of Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali for their entire staff.

At FreshDesk, an online customer support software provider, the entire office watching the first show of a Rajinikanth film has become a ritual. The founder of the company, Girish Mathrubootham, took the entire office to first watch 'Enthiran', then 'Kochadaiiyaan' and finally 'Lingaa' after that.

Oyethere.com founder S Shriram has also booked two Inox screens for his entire staff. For Shriram too, watching a Rajini film with his entire staff has become a habit. He first took his entire office for 'Kuselan', then 'Enthiran' and also 'Lingaa'.

Rajinikanth enjoys a cult following in Chennai and has fans refer to watching his movies as "Rajini darshan."
