Naga Chaitanya and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu's engagement was a high-profile ceremony held in Hyderabad  Both the actors have signed a couple of movies post their engagement, and they are now very busy wrapping up their respective films  Their marriage will be held twice in Hindu and Christian traditional styles.

Sam–Chay's love story is like a cliched dream come true. From best friends to lovers, their eight-year-old journey has almost been fairytale-like. Their engagement was a high-profile ceremony held in Hyderabad on 29th January in the presence of close relatives and immediate family.

Akkineni family has been tight-lipped about the wedding's details. According to the reports, It was earlier rumoured that it would be a destination wedding in Bali or Bangkok. But now, their marriage will take place in Hyderabad.

Both the actors have signed a couple of movies post their engagement, and they are now very busy wrapping up their respective films before getting ready for the big fat wedding. 

On the work front, Both are busy with their current projects, Naga Chaitanya is shooting for Rarandoi Veduka opposite Rakul Preet Singh. The movie is directed by Kalyan Krishna. He also has another film with Chandoo Mondeti.

Samantha is working on multiple projects – a thiagarajan film opposite Vijay Sethupathi, Raju Gari Gadhi 2,  a horror comedy also starring Nagarjuna, her to-be father-in-law also a Sukumar film opposite Ram Charan. She will also play a pivotal role in Savithri’s biopic alongside Keerthy Suresh.
