Roughly a month ago, Oscar-winner AR Rahman reached out to his fans via his Facebook page to crowdsource lyrics to rearrange one of his most popular songs – Take it Easy, Urvasi – and, boy, did they comply.
The song was finally released yesterday on MTV’s popular show called Unplugged, with AR Rahman announcing it on his Facebook page and Twitter.

Since the track was dropped, it’s already been garnered 3,531,427 views and gone viral on Facebook and continues to climb.
This re-arrangement focuses on the current climate – demonetisation and the recently concluded shocking American elections. It’s a far cry from the original one.
