Superstar Rajinikanth took to his Twitter account to convey his grief. He tweeted, “Panju sir ... I will really really miss you. May your soul rest in peace”.

The Kabali actor had worked with the late Kollywood filmmaker in 23 movies, and their relationship was quite intense. 

The tweet was unique since Rajini is not a regular user of the social media platform. Including this one, he has tweeted just 30 times.
