My ‘love story’ not for sale: Krishna Vamsi

Synopsis

Speaking to a Telugu newspaper on the occasion of completing 20 years in Telugu film industry, Krishna Vamsi spoke quite openly about his personal life, including his love story with wife Ramya Krishnan.

But when quizzed further, he said, ‘My love story with Ramya is not for sale’, clearly indicating he will not tolerate any rumours about their relationship.

Meanwhile, there have been rumours that Ramya was going to apply for a divorce. But contrary to these reports, Vamsi said, they occasionally laugh about such rumours.

However, he got furious when he was asked about using his wife’s money, and claimed he has never taken any money from Ramya and would die the day he has to take money from her.

"I don’t have to answer every Tom, Dick and Harry", said Vamsi, when asked about going to sets without a finished script.

Currently, he is directing Nakshatram, starring Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Kannada superstar Sudeep.

Vamsi has won national awards for his movie Ninne Pelladutha, starring Nagarjuna and Tabu in 1996 and Sindhooram, which had Ravi Teja and Sanghavi in the lead roles in 1997. He has also won Filmfare and Nandi awards for his various movies. His previous film in 2014, Govindudu Andarivadele starring Ram Charan and Kajal was a hit.
