When Mohanlal learnt Telugu in just one week
Synopsis
Telugu can be quite challenging to speak for Malayalees, especially since there are hardly any similarities with Malayalam.
Despite the difficulty, Malayalam star Mohanlal managed to figure out enough of the language to dub for his upcoming Telugu movie Manamantha in just about 68 hours.
In an interview, Mohanlal said that Manamantha's plot is close to his heart and made him recollect his early days. He stated that during dubbing, he looked back into his life for a while."
Award-winning director Chandrasekhar Yeleti directed Manamantha. The movie will be released on Aug 5 in Telugu, Tamil (titled as Nammadu in Tamil) and Malayalam (Vismayam in Malayalam) simultaneously.
