  • SS Rajamouli said that Sathyaraj had made that statement nine years ago and after that, about 30 movies of his were released in Karnataka including Baahubali.
  • Telugu movie fans are planning to ban Kiccha Sudeep’s movies in Andhra Pradesh.

The ban on Baahubali 2 is affecting the entire South Indian film industry. Sudeep is a well-known actor in Sandalwood, Tollywood, Kollywood and also Bollywood. He was also a part of Baahubali first part.

But after the pro-Kannada associations planned to ban Baahubali 2 in Karnataka, Telugu movie fans are planning to ban Kiccha Sudeep’s movies in Andhra Pradesh.

The pro-Kannada associations have planned to ban Bahubali 2 in Karnataka because of controversial statements made by popular Tamil actor Sathyaraj who plays the role of Kattappa in Baahubali. Pro-Kannada organisations led by Vatal Nagaraj have threatened to stall the release of the movie in the state.

Recently SS Rajamouli also reacted to this saying that Sathyaraj had made that statement nine years ago and after that, about 30 movies of his were released in Karnataka including Baahubali. No one had problems with that then. Raking up the issue at this point is not right.

Meanwhile, no theatres are willing to screen the epic movie fearing the wrath of Kannada organisations. Pro-Kannada organisations have demanded that Sathyaraj tender an apology for making rude comments against Kannadigas in the Cauvery water sharing issue.
