The National award winner revealed that a Malayalam director once showed her a few racy photos on his phone and 'advised' her that she should also wear such revealing clothes.
Surabhi, who was offended by the comment, told him that he should show those photos to his grown-up daughter and ask her to dress up that way..
"The woman in the photos was barely clothed. I don't know if he was serious or meant it as a joke. Either way, I was having none of it. I told him those clothes would suit his daughter better than me, and that it would be a proud moment for him as a father. He didn't see that coming. He left quietly and never bothered me again," the actress said in a recent interview.
Surabhi won the National Award for best actress this year for her performance in indie Malayalam film 'Minnaminungu - The Firefly'.
