Bantwal: Rowdy sheeter and Tulu actor Surendra Bantwal was hacked to death in broad daylight on Wednesday October 21.
The incident took place at Bastipadpu in Bantwal. It is reported that Surendra was murdered allegedly over financial issues. The actor was attacked at his apartment in BC Road.
Police personnel rushed to the spot and undertook investigation.

It may be recalled, Surendra was in news for allegedly assaulting BJP workers with a sword in Baddakatte, in 2018. A video of the incident had gone viral over social media back in 2018.
Surendra Bantwal was identified with a right-wing organization in the past and was a rowdy-sheeter.
It is reported that Surendra had recently joined the Congress. The actor had recently also acted in the Tulu film Chaali Polilu.
