— Virat Kohli (@imVkohli)Kohli, who is active on social media, for the first time, has shared his fitness workout video. Earlier, he had been urging fellow citizens to stay at home and stay safe to defeat the virus. Currently, Kohli is in Mumbai, spending time at home with his wife Anushka Sharma.
Recently, Kohli had said he will be in a good position to resume playing cricket whenever it happens.
“Fortunately I have all my gym equipment at home so I am able to train - that's not a problem for me. As far as the game goes, luckily I am someone who has always been very, very keen on improving my mental state and not really focusing on practising for long hours in the nets over a period of time. I know once I am in a good frame of mind, I am keeping myself positive and happy and just looking forward in life. Whenever I return to the game I know that I'll be in a good position to start again from where we left,” Kohli said on Star Sports’ “Cricket Connected” show.
With India under a lockdown and no cricket matches, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning to hold an “isolation camp” in Bengaluru when restrictions are lifted.
It is still not clear when the Indian cricketers will be able to get back to training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru or somewhere else.
