Bengaluru: A long wait for IPL 2020 to begin will be over this weekend as defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament opener on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
Ahead of the cash-rich league’s start, the title sponsor Dream 11 has released a video song ‘Ye Apna Game Hai’ which features MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant.
The video was posted on Dream 11’s YouTube page. Also, several cricketers tweeted the same video on their respective Twitter handles.
Along with the video, Dream 11 wrote, “Long before stadiums, cricket was and continues to be played in the streets. Here, the game has its own rules and everyone must abide by them, no matter how big a star. It is these memories that we hold onto for life and keep our love for the game alive, no matter where we go or what we do.
“Today we may not be able to play gully cricket like we always did, at least we have Dream11 to make our own teams and challenge our friends like we always did. Kyunki Yahan Sab Same Hai, #YeApnaGameHai! #Dream11IPL (sic).”
