Mumbai: The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) will launch their title defence on the opening day of IPL 2020 as they face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Abu Dhabi on September 19.

On Sunday (September 6), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the league fixtures for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Matches will be played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE. The playoffs and final schedule will be released later.
