Dubai: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is happy to be back training and batting in the nets after a gap of five months. He is preparing for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) in the UAE.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, cricketers were forced to stay at home as India imposed a lockdown. Sports activities were cancelled.

After landing in Dubai for the tournament, RCB, just like other teams, were in six-day quarantine. Now, Kohli and his RCB teammates have hit the nets, on Saturday (August 29).
“Been 5 months since the last time I stepped onto the field. Felt like 6 days when I got into the nets (Smiling face with open mouth emoji). Great first session with the boys (Fisted hand emoji) @RCBTweets (sic),” Kohli posted on Twitter with pictures from the net session.
RCB fans are hoping that the Kohli-led team will end title drought in IPL. In the previous 12 editions, they have never won the trophy.
