Krunal Pandya is an essential all-rounder for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. However, he plays a vital role as a husband for his wife, Pankhuri Sharma, even during her troubled times.

All-rounder Krunal Pandya has risen through the ranks of Indian cricket, thanks to his consistent performance in the domestic circuit and the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Mumbai Indians (MI). While he has made his way into Team India’s limited-overs circuit, he is once again all set to play an essential role for MI in the ongoing Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

However, he also plays a vital role off the field, in his personal life, for his wife, Pankhuri Sharma. The couple has been married since 2017 and is one of the cutest cricketing couples.

She shared an Instagram video post where she is seen undergoing hospital sessions related to her back. Krunal was also seen helping her out with her rehabs and workout, as she was prone to a wheelchair for some time.

Narrating her story, Pankhuri wrote, “From someone who danced all day to someone who couldn’t even move somedays. I was drained emotionally, physically and mentally❤️‍🩹 I had back / disc issues for last 12 years, but never in life, I thought this day would come. Years of negligence, bad posture and long working hours, I didn’t realise I was torturing my back every day.”

“Unfortunately, last year, I had to go through a D&C procedure. The worst day of my life! 🥺 A very bad day, a very screwed up doctor later, my back became weak and lost so much muscle that I couldn’t even stand,” she added,

“Every doctor said people live through this pain and manage it and let me tell you, I tried. Trust me! Religiously and rigorously. I put my head down and followed whatever was in my control 💪🏼🏃🏻‍♀. My pain was unbearable. Constantly there-24x7365 days into two years! That’s quite a lot for bearing it. Isn’t?” she continued.

“Last two years I only saw the gym, doctors, needles💉 And, I had enough! Taking a decision of having a spine surgery at this age was a very tough one for me and my family. Who through this whole two years stood by me! Especially Kp @krunalpandya_official, who picked me every day and motivated. Sometimes, his speeches and motivation would irritate me, but he was at it, behind me, telling me I can do it. And, my sister, @tanya24sharma, who is there for me, no questions asked❤️,” she further noted.

“This is me telling u a short story of my life and telling u all how important it is to be fit and healthy is. Me telling you that u can pick yourself every day from your worst nightmare and live! ☀️ Also, how important it is to be kind to people who u know and also to people u don’t know. Because somewhere behind smiling faces, there is a story and someone going through a lot more than you can imagine 🙂 🥂 Here’s to life! Rise and Shine✨”, she concluded.
