“With the Lockdown being in its 4th phase, we are all facing many hardships. After the holy yatras were cancelled, a lot of horses, donkeys and mules have been abandoned by their owners as they can’t look after them,” Dhawan wrote.

“They are badly injured and are looking for food and shelter. People For Animals Uttarakhand has established a shelter for them in which they are rescuing all the abandoned ones and providing them with food and proper veterinary treatment. I ask you to open your hearts and help People For Animals Uttarakhand in this cause @pfa.uttarakhand @pfa.official,” he added.
