YS Jagan promises equal pay to all ANMs in his government

YS Jaganmohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa padayatra in Kodumuru met Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery working as contract/ outsourcing workers. The ANMs expressed their grief that they are getting paid Rs 12,000 but the pay is given as sub centre wages.

ANMs Nagamani, Sridevi and Vijayalakshmi met Jagan and expressed their grief. Jagan promised equal pay with Regular workers when his government comes to power.

Boya community leaders met with Jagan and submitted a memorandum.

“Sir, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu promised to enlist Boya community in ST category for the last three elections but he failed to keep his promise.

“We are shattered with his promises. You are fighting for the people’s problems and we see your dedication. Boya community will stand by you in this election. Please enlist our community in STs,” said Valmiki United Agitation Samithi leaders Neelakanta and Ramachandra Reddy.

They submitted a memorandum to Jagan who said that the issue is not in his hands but in the Centre’s. He promised to look into the possibilities of the issue.

He also promised to give an opportunity to one of their communities to contest as MP. He asked them to make him win and send him to the Parliament to fight for their rights.
