Pilgrims bite coal instead of Laddu at Tirumala

Synopsis

Coal particles found in Tirupati prasadam. TTD staff apathy surprises pilgrim

Tirupati has hit the headline yet again, this time with its Laddu. After news of nut, bolt, panparag covers and key chains being found in the temple prasada, a bhakt
now complains of finding coal pieces in it. Belonging to the Lakshmipuram village of Challapalli mandal in Krishna District, Devabhaktuni Yamini said that she notices black particles in the Laddu when she was about to eat it. But what surprised her was the wat TTD staff behaved when she complained.

She specifically said that the TTD staff manning counter no 30 at the Laddu distribution center demanded to know whether she was Christian or a Hindu when she asked him to give her an acknowledgement after she submitted a written complaint about the same.
