ESL Narasimhan may have to vacate his post of Joint Governor to AP and Telangana

Governor ESL Narasimhan had been working as as the Joint governor for AP and Telangana since the division His appeal for extension of governorship for another term was rejected by the Centre He was at one point of time considered for the post of Vice President
The Central government nominated Venkaiah Naidu as the Vice-Presidential candidate. Along with this, it has also decided to make some interesting changes in AP and Telangana . At one point, there was news that the joint governor of AP and Telangana ESL Narasimhan maybe the NDA candidate for Vice President.
Though Narasimhan had completed his term as governor, he was asked to continue for another term as the joint governor by the Central Home Ministry. Narasimhan requested for extension for another term but the Centre has rejected it. The Central ministers have instead promised him a reputable and honoured position in New Delhi.
Another interesting piece of news was that AP and Telangana will now have separate governors. The Centre has decided in this regard. Senior leader in the Karnataka BJP Sankara Murthy will be the governor for Telangana and the AP governor would be revealed soon.
