The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has a prestigious link to the Nandyal by-poll. He has involved all the seniors of the party in this election and is personally supervising the election campaign through regular teleconferences with the ministers, MLA, MLCs and leaders. He is also intending to visit Nandyal on 22nd and personally campaign for the by-election.
He announced various schemes to the voters in the name of bypoll – plots for houses were distributed, houses are being built and roads are being widened. He distributed cabs and tractors to some prominent community leaders who had a grip on their communities under the presence of Kapu and BC Corporations.
In his visit to Nandyal on 22nd July as part of the by-poll, the CM will participate in some development schemes like distributing ration cards and pensions to the poor. Nandyal Minister Bhuma Akhilapriya said that the CM would then participate in an open meeting. She also said that 13,000 houses would be built and there’s a positive response to the widening of roads.
