Serve Baklava Sweet to Guests on Eid

Ingredients 
 

  • Phyllo Pastry Sheets – 12
  • Butter (melted) – 1/2 cup
  • Finely Chopped Nuts (almonds, pistachios, walnuts) – 1 cup

	<li>Cinnamon Powder – 1/2 teaspoon</li>
	<li>Rose Water – 1 teaspoon</li>
</ul>

	<li>Grease a baking tray with butter and place 6 phyllo sheets one by one, brushing each sheet with butter.</li>

Create Layers of Phyllo Sheets

	<li>Mix chopped nuts and cinnamon powder and spread over the phyllo sheets.</li>
</ul>

Fill with Nuts

  • Mix chopped nuts and cinnamon powder and spread over the phyllo sheets.

Add Layer from Above

  • Place 6 more phyllo sheets over the nuts and brush each sheet with butter.

Shape and Bake

  • Cut it into diamond or square shapes and bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

Serve with Syrup

  • After baking, pour honey or rose water syrup over the hot baklava and let it soak.
  • Let the baklava cool, garnish with chopped pistachios, and serve to guests on Eid.
