Watch 8-year-old Argentine girl display excellent football skills, Lionel Messi responds

As far as Lionel Messi is concerned, he is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers of the modern-day, while his six Ballon d’Or titles prove it. Having won numerous accolades in the sport, besides scripting countless records to his name, the Argentine has truly sealed his reputation as one of the sport’s legends.

Over the years, Messi has become an inspiration for many young footballers and even children across the globe. Notably, his home country of Argentina has nearly every single kid inspired by him.

Similarly, an eight-year-old Argentine girl is inspired by Messi and has seemingly taken up the sport due to him, besides learning some skills by watching him. The girl, who goes by the name Felicitas Flores, had her video shared on Instagram.

She displayed some of her traditional footballing skills that involved juggling the ball with the feet and goal-scoring skills. The video was captioned, “I lovingly dedicate my video to my idol @leomessi.”

Meanwhile, the video happened to have fallen to the eyes of Messi himself, who checked the video out. Impressed by the same, Messi replied by stating, “Many thanks for the dedication, I watched the video and you’re a genius.”

Messi is currently preparing to lead Argentina in the upcoming Copa America, to be played in Brazil, from June 11. The side has won the tournament on 14 occasions but has never won it since 1993.
