Gadag: Karnataka health minister B Sriramulu's close aide and Gadag's BJP unit leader HS Shivangouder was placed under suspension on Sunday (July 12) after he hosted a birthday party amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Pictures and videos of alcohol, non-vegetarian food and dance party went viral across north Karnataka and the public, opposition parties started to criticise the BJP leader and Sriramulu as he too had violated the rules during Chitradurga rally. Over 200 people had gathered at the birthday party on Saturday.
