Venkatesh and Nagarjuna encourage multistarrer films

Multi-starrer film involves a lot of courage on the part of actors and Telugu stars prefer not to take risks with their careers by acting in such films. Though every film industry has ventured into doing huge action movies with star heroes, Telugu film industry seems to be reluctant to go into that groove.

Old films in Tollywood had senior heroes doing huge multi-starrer films but the present actors aren’t so inclined towards them. On the other hand such scripts are not even made available.

But two veteran film stars, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh, in their own way are trying to change the trend by acting in multi-starrers and succeeding in them.

Nagarjuna is all for experimenting and doesn’t mind to act in guest roles. He even encourages young and upcoming actors and directors. He acted in Krishnarjuna with Manchu Vishnu and now he’s all set to act with Nani in Aswini Dutt’s production.

Venkatesh on the other hand did commendable job in multi-starrer films and he is probably the only one who has done several in recent times. He is willing to share the screen with young heroes if the story is good. He would again be sharing the screen with Vijay Devarakonda of Arjun fame under Bommarillu Bhaskar’s direction.

Both Nagarjuna and Venkatesh are doing commendable job encouraging multi-star films.
