Confirming this, National Health Authority CEO R S Sharma said that over 50 countries from across Central Asia, Latin America and Africa, are interested in Cowin technology.
The CoWin has powered India's vaccination drive.Â
The Centre had developed the CoWIN digital platform, specifically to streamline the process of vaccination for various categories of beneficiaries across the country.
The app provided an effective rollout for scaling up the mechanism of the Covid Vaccine Distribution System.Â
Considering that owning mobile phones, address proof, pre-registering on CoWIN is not mandatory, the platform has helped ensure Covid vaccines are accessible to millions.
Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will on June 30 shared the success story of CoWin platform with the world at a global conference.Â
Dr Harsh Varshan termed CoWin's performance as an answer to those people who raised doubts about the country's vaccination programme.
