Google Drive introduces 'Offline Mode' for all gcw

Google Drive is the most widely used cloud storage platform. It will become more profitable for consumers now that Google has introduced an offline option on Google Drive. Google announced the upgrade in a blog post, stating that users would now view PDFs, Office files, and pictures stored on Google Drive when offline. Users must, however, label their files as "offline" for this to work. Google Drive offline mode was initially tested in beta form by Google in 2019.

Offline mode on Google Drive can only be accessed using the Google Drive Desktop client on Mac or Windows. Users must also enable "Offline" mode in the Drive settings on the web. Users may designate their files offline after installing the programme and separately turning on "Offline" mode by right-clicking the file and finding an "Available offline" option. All Google Workspace users and Cloud Identity Free, Cloud Identity Premium, G Suite Basic, and Business customers now have access to the functionality. Google is also making the functionality available for personal accounts.
