Don't worry WhatsApp users; it won't limit its app features for not accepting policy

WhatsApp users, now you don't have to worry because the company won't limit your app features if you don't accept the privacy policy. Here's why.

The Facebook-owned instant messaging application WhatsApp will not restrict its users' functionality if they do not accept the new privacy policy. And this statement will not change.

A WhatsApp spokesperson said to The Verge, "Given recent discussions with various authorities and privacy expert, we want to make clear that we will not limit the functionality of how WhatsApp works for those who have not yet accepted the update."

WhatsApp even clarified this with a statement, saying, "No one will have their accounts deleted or lose functionality of WhatsApp on May 15th because of this update."

As per the company, a whole lot of users have already accepted the policy and those who haven't will still receive a notification so that they can review and have a chance to think about accepting it. But it won't be persistent, and if they don't allow it, it won't make any difference to their functionality of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is having backlashes ever since they announced their privacy policy earlier this year. They had even postponed their commencement date to May 15th and changed a few twigs to keep the policy going.
