As Facebook changes its name to 'Meta', the new logo triggers meme fest on social media

Since Facebook CEO and creator Mark Zuckeberg stated that the firm will rebrand as 'Meta,' the internet has been frantically attempting to figure out why and how the decision was made. The IT behemoth stated that the name change will unite its various apps and technologies under one new brand, but that the organisational structure would stay same. The new Meta logo, on the other hand, has gotten a lot of attention, as well as a lot of jokes and memes on social media.

The word "metaverse," coined as part of a dystopian fiction decades ago and now gaining traction in Silicon Valley, refers to the concept of a shared virtual world that can be accessed by anyone using various devices.
