Bugs and creepy crawlies love dark places and tend to build their abode in those locations. They are pretty adventurous and like exploring places that resemble a tunnel. A Chinese man was at the receiving end of such an inquisitive organism.
A man who went to a hospital in China for a severe earache ended up having a lizard removed from his ear. The man from Guangzhou, in southern China, had settled down for a snooze when he suddenly woke up with severe itching.
He immediately rushed to First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University on Tuesday morning, August 15. He said that he could feel something squirming inside his head and thought there was a cockroach inside his ear.
To everyone’s horror, the doctors discovered a tiny gecko in the man’s ear canal. Dr Tu Bo who was overseeing the case anaesthetised the lizard to prevent it from crawling further into the man’s head reported Newsflare.com.
The doctors were still worried because the lizard was missing its tail. However, the doctor did not find it inside the man’s ear.
