MP Nusrat Jahan reacts to Aligarh rape case, attacks PM Narendra Modi in tweet

MP Nusrat Jahan expressed her views on the rape case in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Nusrat sneered at PM Narendra Modi and tweeted, “I am Disturbed! I am Shaken! She was only 6 yr old. Shri @narendramodi Ji, please wake up from your slumber! You are repeatedly failing all daughters of this nation. What is this pathetic state of women in @BJP4India ruled UP? WHY are you still silent?” Nusrat’s tweet has caused a stir on social media again.

While there was widespread outrage over the alleged gangrape and death of a 19-year-old woman from Hathras, a six-year-old girl, who was raped in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh 10 days ago, succumbed to her injuries at a hospital in Delhi.

The girl, who was allegedly raped by her cousin, was taken to Delhi for treatment after her condition deteriorated.

The family placed the minor’s body at the Sadabad-Baldev road and staged a demonstration, demanding the arrest of the accused and negligent police personnel. Senior officials reached the spot to pacify the protestors.

MP Nusrat Jahan chose not to stay quiet about the rape case in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Nusrat sneered at PM Narendra Modi and tweeted, “I am Disturbed! I am Shaken! She was only 6 yr old. Shri @narendramodi Ji, please wake up from your slumber! You are repeatedly failing all daughters of this nation. What is this pathetic state of women in @BJP4India ruled UP? WHY are you still silent?”

Nusrat’s tweet has caused a stir on social media again. Nusrat recently responded to Sambit Patra's tweet on Twitter. Sambit had tweeted, “What is happening in Uttar Pradesh? There are reports of rape everywhere. It is no longer tolerated.”

In response to this tweet, Nusrat wrote, "Finally, someone has admitted the deadly truth. Why are you not blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the injustice and crimes against Dalits and women in the country?”

Nusrat's tweet has caused a storm on social media again.
